So I was introduced to Murakami via Norwegian Wood. I loved it! The melancholy really engulfed me and I felt it for days after I finished. I have heard though that Norwegian Wood isn’t very typical Murakami..or am I mistaken? Either way which one should I pick up next?
Also, which book can you recommend (regardless of author) that has a similar theme/vibe to Norwegian Wood?

I’d try First Person Singular. Collection of short stories.
_After Dark_ and _Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki and His Years of Pilgrimage_ are probably the closest in tone.
