I read this 12 months ago, I still think about it, and recommend it to anyone who will sit down long enough to listen. I gave it to my 15 year old son, he asked me to miss a day of school to read it, which is saying something, because he *loves* school SO much.
I can’t recall the last time I read a book like it and I’d love to get that dug in to another book or author. I don’t really cope well with ‘heavy’ books (Michener etc). PHM was pretty much perfect for pacing.
It’s also about as far out with sci-fi as I like, some stuff is just hard to read.
The other book I really enjoyed some time ago, though the first was much better than the second and third, was the first Hunger Games book. I really enjoy post apololytic stuff too.
TIA for any recommendations.
