I have watched and read Alice in Borderland and im a big fan of it. Im looking for a book/novel with a similar setting, people being forced to lie and decive others while playing various games. Its interesting to see how differently people would act in a situation like this.
Although Alice in Borderland was a manga im looking for a book/novel since in most cases they have a one volume(not interested in spending my money for 20 volumes of a manga)

I also would want it to appear strange, weird and maybe disturbing like in alice in wonderland(the childrens book)(OPTIONAL)

The Long Walk by Richard Bachman (aka Stephen King). It’s a psychological/horror dystopian novel. It doesn’t have various games, though.
Since you’re not up to reading mangas, have you watched the tv series/movies adaptation of Liar Game?
