Hey folks,
when I was in my early to mid teens I HAD to read at least a book per week, otherwise I wouldn’t know what to do with my mind or just create my own stories.
Weed and growing up pretty much erased that behaviour/need.
Stopped weed and feeling kinda bored in my “adulthood”. I NEED something to stimulate my thoughts so they stop drifting around so much.
Last year in summer I stumbled across White Oleander by Janet Fitch. And I sucked it up like it was air and I was under water for ages.
Who didn’t read it – read it!
Who read it – any recommendations?
Doesn’t have to be the same subject, but I would love to read more books anchored in realism and written almost like poetry (or at least a decent writing-style).
Thanks a lot!
