Hi All,
I was hoping to get some book recommendations for myself, I’ve never really been into reading as and adult but I did some as a teenager/young adult. I’ve been trying to start reading again since the turn of the year butt I’m finding it really difficult. I’ve picked up a few books that I’ve been interested in reading for some time but they’ve been a real slog and I’m really struggling with them (Lord of the Rings, Dune and A Game of Thrones). I also think having seen the TV Shows/Movies has helped as knowing what’s coming next has made it difficult to keep going there’s not real suspense.
I’ve really struggled with them and I think I need to develop my reading ability with some easier to read stuff than these three beasts. I’ve listed a couple of books/series that I’ve read when I was a teen/young adult but really appreciate some recommendations to build my ability and confidence with reading :-

* The Maze Runner
* The Hunger Games
* Mortal Engines
* Dan Brown Series
