I’m reading Witches Abroad, my first Terry Pratchett novel, and really enjoying it so far. The way he writes his funny lines reminds me strongly of Douglas Adams. I’m not suggesting that either was copying the other’s style. I loved all of Adams’ books, particularly the Hitch Hiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, so this is great. Has anyone else noticed a similarity between them? Or have you noticed similarities between two of your own favourite authors?
