At the beginning of the year I set myself the goal of reading 10 books in 2024. I know this is small potatoes for a lot of people here but, despite being a voracious reader as a teen, as an adult I’ve been really struggling to do any reading at all between work, children and life commitments.
Anyway, I just finished my 10th book way ahead of schedule and am hoping to add another 10 before the end of the year.
I’ve been trying to alternate fiction and non fiction (the non fictions have definitely been my favourites) and have taken most of my suggestions from these communities. I have really enjoyed all of these so far – what would you suggest in a similar vein:
Read so far:
Into The Uncanny, Danny Robbins;
Zone One, Colson Whitehead;
Into Thin Air, Jon Krakauer;
The Land Of Lost Things, John Connolly;
Bad Blood, John Carreyrou;
American Gods, Neil Gaiman;
I’ll Be Gone In The Dark, Michelle Mcnamara;
The Fisherman, John Langhan
Unmasked, Paul Holes
The Indifferent Stars Above, Daniel James Brown
Thank you!
