Hello, I’ve never posted here before, but I’m really hoping to discover new books so I figured I’d give this a try. I recently read “Sapiens” By Yuval Noah Harari and I loved it so much that I picked up his newer book, “Homo Deus: A brief History of Tomorrow” which I just finished and thoroughly enjoyed. These books were so provocative and stimulating for me that I’m craving more reading material in this general subject. It doesn’t necessarily need to be a book, could be essays, articles, informational websites, etc. What I’m looking for is to learn more about the human story, both past and present, our relationship with the planet and each other, and what the future may look like, especially in regards to the rise of AI and the impact of a warming climate.
Thanks!

I don’t know if it will hold any weight with you, but Mr. Smil shows up on Bill Gates’ reading list too (Gates Notes). Very well written book. His others are worth checking out too.
