My sister is growing up and is getting into reading, and it turns out she has a flair for things dark, sinister, thriller, and occasionally whimsical. She absolutely adores Five Nights at Freddie’s, consuming the lore like a sponge and she’s read the Silver Eyes graphical novel adaptation. Outside of that franchise she likes Coraline, but also likes fables/fairy tales that are weird and whimsical like Spirited Away and My Neighbour Totoro.
I’d love to find her next obsession for her with some sort of dark fable/horror.
