Suggest me a book that is very well written in the literary fiction sense, while still being (or having the suspense of) a crime/thriller/espionage novel.
I love entertaining and catchy stories, but after reading literary fiction for three decades I simply can’t stand the language and style if mosr thrillers or crime novels.
There must be masterfully written books that fill the gap and cross this bridge. What are they?
Your suggestion does not have to be an award winner or a global best-seller. The books might be literary fiction or crime literature. I don’t care. I just need a well written book with suspense.
