I’ll be brief. I love Pynchon. The way he writes, the stories, the characters, the way you don’t fully understand the plot, the way you do…
I love it buuuuut… I have never finished Gravity’s Rainbow, Mason & Dixon or Against the light (half of them more or less). I think I need something more similar to his other books, not more “grounded” per se, maybe shorter, and definitely easier to follow.
I am in the middle of a kind of a middle age crisis. I feel very dumb. I feel my good intelligent years have passed, and I need something to try to fight that sensation. Any suggestions?
