Hello! I’m interested in teaching myself more about ancient civilizations and I feel that starting with the basis of geography through time in general would give me a better understanding of what the actual people were living with; that geographical context would give me a better perspective of the actual life of a citizen and hopefully a more accurate understanding of their experience. Something I can read in full initially, then reference later when reading up on a specific people for a more in depth idea on their location. All suggestions appreciated, thank you!
