Any Modern science-fiction type novels similar tonally to Cormac McCarthy’s The Road or William Gibson’s Neuromancer. Dystopian and ethereal is a plus, but not really looking for hard sci-fi. 🔋

I know *The Road* and *Neuromancer* are nothing really alike but I love the direct narration style that McCarthy uses, and the bleak noir undertones of Gibson’s Neuromancer. If there’s something out there that blends the two I would be all over it.

I’ve read *Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep* and *Dune*. Looking for a new science fiction-leaning novel that can fill the void.
