I’ve recently been enjoying non-fiction books where the overarching theme is that the subject has made a difference in the world, either in life or after death. Some examples: The Radium Girls, The Woman They Couldn’t Silence, Blood Runs Coal. I’m interested not so much in books about famous people, but in consequential lesser known people whose stories have made an impact on society. What do you recommend for my next read?
