I don’t know if this is the right vibe because it’s on the horror-side, but I just read Alice Isn’t Dead and appreciated how the main character’s anxiety was seen as a part of her, not always positive, not always negative, and not something that is magically cured with a happily ever after.
Also Jenny Lawson’s memoirs are very upbeat while she is very mentally ill. A lot of dark/strange humor.
