i’ve never really read a history book outside of a classroom setting – i’d like to change that. ancient civilizations from the “bronze age” (i know that’s a probably an outdated/nebulous term) located around the mediterranean (egyptians, greeks, assyrians, etc) have always seemed fascinating to me. just looking for some relatively light books on these topics to see if it can pique an interest in reading non-fictional history books. ideally something i can purchase and read on a kindle
