I’ve read cheesy rom coms (Tessa Bailey, Emily Henry) and then The Bell Jar/A Woman is No Man kind of books, but nothing in between. It has distorted my belief in real, kind, and genuine men.

One of my favorite books is Elmer Kelton’s *The Time it Never Rained*. The guy struggles and struggles and just keeps on going. It’s been years since I read it, but I always want to have that unbeatable self-reliant ethic. It was very representative of a lot of the men I looked up to growing up.
It’s not a love story, so I don’t know if that’s what you would want. But, the MC is a good man and ai remember enjoying reading that story immensely.

Cheesy Rom coms are the best.
I’m currently reading The Charm Offensive by Alison Cochran and it’s pretty good

Most Eligible Billionaire (obvi a billionaire romance book that I really liked)

The Spanish Love Deception (is adorable!)

And then anything by Ali Hazelwood. I love her tbh, and the men in all the books I’ve read by her are just amazing (I’ve read Bride, The Love Hypothesis, Love Theoretically, and Check & Mate)
