Context: Historically, men and women of the same generation tended to be ideologically aligned. Now, Generation Z—born between 1997 and 2012—shows signs of defying this trend.

Suggest me a book that addresses the growing divide between men and women in terms of political understanding and voting patterns over recent years.

    1. a book where women are more progressive and more conservative? I don’t understand

You know. Voting patterns show for quite a few decades that men in the U.S. tended to vote Republican and women Democrat. So it’s actually not a recent trend

Not a book, but I would suggest you Google what you can find by Pew Research. They have done deep dives into the demographics of voters for quite a while and might offer information about voting trends

      Handmaids tale?

The Female Man by Joanna Russ you might also like. here’s the summary:
“The novel recounts the sudden, unexplained convergence of four women who exist in very different parallel worlds: one a utopia in which all men had become extinct; one in which the Great Depression never ended and WWII never began; one a dystopia where men and women are literally at war”

    4. Are you sure? I am pretty sure that in the 50s and 60s at least here in the UK, women were more conservative and distinctly not aligned.
