What are some books to read if you don’t know what to read?

I've got a few books in the cyberpunk and adventure category I'd still like some stuff in other genres.

I'm just not entirely sure what lol. I do like stuff like Mercedes killer by stephen king, I can't pin point exactly what I liked about it.

Maybe books where it based on one location? I do enjoy slice of life books I can't remember the two I did read but characters having ordinary lives as well.

Or maybe horror where people are trapped in an office or something?

Any advice on searching for new books as well
