With a strong preference for modern young adult fantasy settings, or just fantasy/science fiction in general.
To be more specific, like in 2000s "wake up, go to school, save the world" cartoons when the main characters double life is revealed to someone close to them, except with the dynamic change after explored. not in a "they are the choosen one" kind of way though, if that makes sense
