I am so desperate right now haha, why did I have to get sucked into a small niche?! I watched Queen’s Gambit, read a bunch of fan fiction, and now I’ve read Check & Mate by Ali Hazelwood. I’m having horrible luck finding any other chess fiction that isn’t short stories. If anyone knows any books, I would be eternally grateful! I’m not picky if there is romance or not, just a decent to heavy focus on chess would be fantastic 🙏
Also, I know essentially nothing about chess (also why I am baffled by my interest), so chess game/strategy realism isn’t really an issue.
