As I want to get more into reading again, I need some suggestions om books I can binge read and neglect my obligations🤣 I do prefer a book series.
I enjoy mainly fantasy books where there is a big focus on worldbuilding, "political" intrigues etc, for example such as ASOIAF (the gold standard), I recently read the Wheel Of Time books and really liked those. I know I'm not giving much here but I was reading mostly as a child so those books are not really relevant

Worldbuilding with politics: *The Curse of Chalion, Paladin of Souls* and *The Hallowed Hunt* by Lois McMaster Bujold. There’s also a larger series of her Penric books, which take place in the same universe but a different time period with different characters. These also have politics but not to the extent the first three do.

    2. The Traitor Baru Cormorant, by Seth Dickinson. Political intrigue fantasy galore, with intense and complex worldbuilding! The only problem with this series is that the fourth book isn’t out yet…but it’s all pretty new so I’m sure we’ll get it.

*The Books of Swords* by Fred Saberhagen

      *Sabriel* by Garth Nix

*The Amulet of Samarkand* by Jonathan Stroud

*Perdido Street Station* by China Mieville
