I'm looking to read my first self-help/personal development book and can't decide between these two popular titles:
- "The Definitive Book of Body Language" by Allan Pease
- "How to Win Friends and Influence People" by Dale Carnegie
"The Definitive Book of Body Language" seems like it could provide useful insights into understanding nonverbal communication and social cues. However, "How to Win Friends and Influence People" is a classic book on improving interpersonal skills that is highly recommended. For those who have read either or both of these books, which one would you suggest starting with first? I'm interested in improving my social skills and ability to connect with others, so keen to hear opinions on which book may be more valuable as an introduction. Any other book recommendations in this genre are welcome too!
