Hi everyone – hoping to tap into the wisdom of the crowd for some specific sci fi recommendations. I love plausible science stories with a nice bit of Earth and not too many (if any) little green people.
My favourites of the genre are Neal Stephenson (Seveneves superb, that Dodge book oof), Kim Stanley Robinson, Andy Weir, Three Body, . I quite liked Delta V and sequel by Daniel Suarez although they were a bit cheesy. Blake Crouch the same.
I did not like the sentient spider one and the Expanse lost me at some point although I can’t quite remember why. I think it got a bit too battle-y through halls of spaceships.
