I've recently finally gotten back into reading again, and am looking for YA dystopian books with female leads (I'm 27, but I just simply love YA books). Any recs? Currently rereading Matched by Ally Condie, and I have read The Hunger Games, The 5th Wave, Uglies/Pretties/Specials/Extras series, etc (I can't currently recall them all rn). I'd appreciate any suggestions/recommendations! 😊

I’d recommend The Girl In Red by Christina Henry. It’s a modern telling of red riding hood set in a post-apocalyptic dystopia, with a badass female protagonist.
Terra Invictus. It has a female and male lead POV. A modern Science fiction/fantasy/dystopian adventure. The book is filled with conspiracy, adventure, survival, war, pandemics, mythology and disclosure. Apocalypse assassin by JJ Thorn is a female lead. She survived the monster apocalypse and is on a revenge spree for the cult leaders of her childhood. It’s a fantasy book and very fun. Idk if apocalypse is equal to dystopian but I think you’d like it.
