Oh man, the Jurassic park book was so good. I’ve read most of his books, and for the most part I love them. He was also the first “adult” author that I read as a tween, so I could be impartial. I feel like people either hate him or love him. My recommendation would be either Eaters of the Dead, or Timeline.

Really enjoyed *Airframe*. Worth a look.
While it certainly wasn’t his best, I’ll kinda say *Disclosure* has now dated into … Perhaps the best word is awkwardness? It includes Virtual Reality as a plot device, but in a way that it’s inevitably going to take you out of the moment.
Unsure which of his others I’ve read. Loved the film of *The Great Train Robbery*.

Sphere is good. They made it into a film with Dustin Hoffman, Sharon Stone and Samuel L. Jackson. Whatever you think about the film, the casting was pretty good.
Eaters of The Dead is a great book, also turned into a better than average movie, The 13th Warrior.
I’m reading Timeline, I like the concept and it’s enjoyable so far.
The concept in Andromeda Strain is terrifying. I think that was his first. The tech has dated, but it’s remains a scary scenario well described.

Jurassic Park is really quite different than the movie. There are some character and detail overlaps but it’s not like you’re going to know what’s coming.

Timeline is fun and light. Sphere is horror.
