Hello
I recently finished "The song of Achilles" and "They both die at the end", Not the most recommended reading material for someone with already a broken heart but they were great. The knowing what was gonna happen but not knowing the how made every second of the book more precious. Do you have any more recommendations of similar books?
Many thanks in advanced.

[**Our Wives Under The Sea** by Julia Armfield](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/58659343)
this book will leave you with a lot of questions unanswered. you will not understand the hows and whys to a lot that happens in this book (but that’s the main reason it’s my favorite book of all time).
the ambiguity in this book really divides people, especially the ending scene. i thought it was perfect but i can definitely see why it frustrates a lot of people.
this book uses horror as a vehicle to explore grief. it’s beautiful and haunting and melancholic and one of the most unique stories i’ve ever read.
if you do read this, i **highly** recommend you read it by audiobook as the main narrator does an amazing job at bringing to life the various rollercoaster of emotions that she is going through throughout the story.
For a classic, The Lady of the Camellias by Alexandre Dumas
