I been playing Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, which plays 431 B.C. And it features a lot of real characters like Socrates and Hippokrates, but also characters from the Greek mythology like Persephone and Minotaur.
And since the AC games always aroused my interest in history. I would like some suggestions about the old Greece and the Greece mythology as well

The Iliad and the Odyssey by Homer are excellent.
If you want something wildly fun, and you can find them, Goatsong and The Walled Orchard by the amazing Tom Holt are fantastic. I hold a PhD in Anthropology, and those two gave me some comic relief while reading the other two.
If you’re young you could look at Tales of the Greek Heroes by Roger Lancelyn Green. He was a master of his craft.
