Hi,
I am interested on knowing more about the Yakuza history, particularly their progressive changes which lead to the decline they are into nowadays. A general history of Japan from the postwar period until present would be interesting as well.
The issue I have while looking into documentaries/books about Yakuza is that it gets lost into this weird mystification of the fenomenon, specially with wester authors. I would like some proper history books, not the fantasy of what Yakuza is. If that makes sense.
