I (19M) haven’t really read a book in several years, that is until last week when I read a book called the measure because my college recommended all incoming students to read it. Truthfully, I hated the book, and thought it was rly slow and boring, but it reminded me of times I used to like to read, and I was wondering if I could get some recommendations on some books that could get me hooked. Some of my favorite books of all time are ready player one, Enders game, the hunger games, Harry Potter series, the maze runner, shoe dog, divergent / Percy Jackson (way back in the day, I’m 19 now lol), etc. I know this is a super broad / weird range, but figured I may as well ask. Currently the main book im thinking of is liar’s poker (recommended by my dad), but I’d love some more recs. Dont be afraid to put a popular book, I want your favorites!
TLDR: give me some recs on genuinely fun to read / interesting books I won’t want to put down. I haven’t read much, so please don’t be afraid to put down a book that’s “too popular”!
