I'm rereading 1984 because I got Julia (a retelling of 1984 from the perspective of Winston Smith's lover) and I need a refresh on the original, as a prelude into Julia.
In 1984 Orwell writes of Winston: "Actually he was not used to writing by hand. Apart from very short notes, it was usual to dictate everything into the speakwrite…" Presaging by 70 years the voice to text apps. Incredible!
What are some other examples?

Infinite Jest by David Foster Wallace was written in, but the orange president with the OCD germophobia is pretty spot on. IIRC, he book also predicts the current obsession with photo filters and social media. In the book people stop going into the real world and hides behind filtered images of themselves. it’s been a while so the details are vague
Brave new world by Huxley and We by Yevgeny Zamyatin are my two favorites along with 1984. All 3 were just so, so far ahead of their times.
