I have not read almost any of these, but I can recommend Princess Bride. It’s such whacky parody but doesn’t rub it in your face!

    2. Vita Nostra is excellent, but dense. It may not be the best for getting out of a slump, but absolutely give it a read when you’re not struggling.

The Starless Sea, on the other hand, would be my choice. It’s dreamy and ethereal and very easy to get lost in.

    3. “A Boy’s Life” – if this is the book by Robert McCammon – is SO GOOD. So good.

From your list, I also really liked “Midnight Library”, “Princess Bride”, “Rose Madder”, and “The Virgin Suicides”.

Practical magic is good, but it takes a long time to get into, and isnr a great read if you’re in a slump. I would say 2 or 4 and maybe the princess bride but I haven’t read it, only seen the movie

Boy’s Life is magical. Just listened to the audiobook. It has a little bit of everything.

Stephen King (Rose Madder) for getting out of a reading slump. His books seem effortless

I thought The Exorcist was brilliant when I read it as a teen. Sadly I didn’t rate The Midnight Library at all. It was a promising idea, but just felt shallow and a bit preachy to me. The Princess Bride is an absolute classic, and definitely worth a read. The Starless Sea was enjoyable but I didn’t find it as atmospheric or stylish as The Night Circus.
