I host a book club for 65-75 year old women and we’ve read some amazing books recently, but they’ve all been heavy (a lot of heart wrenching historical fiction). For this summer, I told them I’d find something light hearted (maybe even taking place in summer). Everything I see online is sappy summer romance type books that I don’t think would appeal to this age group. They did love Remarkably Bright Creatures so maybe something along the lines of being lighthearted with some comedy mixed in that would lead to a good discussion. Any suggestions are appreciated!
