I love reading but don’t do it enough because I don’t really know how to find and pick one I always end up reading a few chapters and saying ehh not for me. I tend to let that fear stop me from even trying. I should stop that. I’m looking for something that will change my life. Have me wanting to escape back into this world while I sit at my desk.

Ready Player One
Da Vinci Code
Demon Copperhead
Tried to read but didn’t finish:
Dune got half way through
Inherent Vice got a third
Angels and Demons maybe a third
You can tell my taste is basic.. it shouldn’t surprise you to find out my favorite book series is the hunger games and I saw every movie at its midnight release. I would like my horizons to be broadened but in the realm of my likings. Please and thank you.

you’ve come to a great place!! don’t get caught up in what you think you should be reading. there is a place for all reading!! I love the Dan brown books and also went to the midnight movies for the hunger games. But I also love other more “literary” books and classics too. It just depends on what I am in the mood for.
You should download StoryGraph, it’s an app that helps you track your reading but you can also see what people with similar taste are reading and check out reviews as well. I have found myself adding books from recommendations there that I may not have read otherwise.
You can also look at reading challenges that you find interesting and see what others are reading to complete them.
