Looking for a Sci-Fi book

Hi, I’m not a big reader but looking into reading more often, I’m basing my interests off of what I like to watch on tv and as title says that’s probably either a Sci-Fi book or like mystery of some sorts. I’ve tried to look around myself and can’t seem to find anything that really catches my eye. Thanks for any suggestions
