Right now I am rereading A Fine Romance: Falling in Love with the English Countryside by Susan Branch. This is the second time I’ve reread it and even though it takes place in spring it is a cozy book for fall too. Very charming and a lovely narrative, handwritten complete watercolor pictures and even recipes. And she visits many wonderful places in England such as Jane Austen’s home as well as Vita Sackville West’s.
Any recommendations for other books that you go to again and again for comfort or inspiration?

Siddhartha by Herman Hesse
As a huge nerd I’ve read Lord of the Rings nearly every year since I first read it at 7 years old. It’s like meditation at this point, I know it so well. I honestly think I could get a close version by just retyping it out from memory.
