Hello! I need a new book for when I’m finished reading The Troop by Nick Cutter(half way through). It’s my first book from him and I really enjoy his writing.
I am looking for non-series recommendations for any of the following genres(or similar);
– Psychological/serial horror
– Apocalyptic and post apocalyptic
– Dystopian
(I’m not a fan of grievous amounts of sexual body horror, cosmic horror, or animal abuse)
Books I’ve recently read include; Tender is the Flesh, Maeve Fly, It Rides a Pale Horse, The Last House on Needless Street, A Head Full of Ghosts
Some books I recently added to my “want to read” list to give you an idea: Penpal, Gone to See the River Man, Alias Grace, Flowers for Algernon, Stolen Tongues, The Wasp Factory, Come Closer, The Laws of the Skies, Nestlings, The Road, Fahrenheit 451
Would you recommend any of those? Or do you have something better in mind?
