Like the title says, I'm looking for a book featuring a disabled main character (preferably physically disabled- I am and would like to relate) that isn't actually centered on them being disabled- simply, existing and the major story beats aren't about overcoming self-loathing with their disability or something. I have a preference for historical fiction, fantasy, sci-fi- but I enjoy other genres as well. Thank you!

I’m not sure if it’s quite what you’re looking for, but *Lock In* by John Scalzi might be worth a look
