This is a tad overly specific but are there any books where the main character is a modern person, well versed in history, that has their mind travel back in time into the body of a historical figure and we see them use their knowledge of, what is now, their future to change events?
I've read a couple of books where a modern person physically travels to the past and must acclimate to their new life.
But I'd like to read one where they possess someone's body because this way they don't have to start from zero. They already start from a more or less comfortable position of power and have more options to apply their knowledge.
