Preferably British Inidia. I recently visited a place in India that had very prominent British architecture and I just couldn’t help thinking how good the lives of British officers must be in the colony.
I am looking for something that would give me an idea of how british officers lived their lives in the colonies. Like maybe a bit of a background of their early life, how they came to be posted in India, what did they do in office/ what did their job description include, what did they eat, what did they do for entertainment etc.
