Suggest me a book that will be easy to get immersed in

Coming off of two books I couldn't finish so help me out here!

Looking for fiction that is hard to put down, and easy to get into (could even be a series). I want something that's easy to get immersed in. I just read a little bit before bedtime. I prefer easier to read books (see below).

Recently read and enjoyed:
– Killers of the Flower Moon
– The Sympathizer

Recently tried reading and couldn't finish:
– The Devil in the White City (just felt too dry–the mass murderer story was very intriguing but the world's fair part with all the random details about architecture bore me to death)
– A Gentleman in Moscow (just wasn't easy to read, and felt a little slow? found myself zoning out and losing interest)
