Help!!

Looking for an adult book (please don’t confuse this with erotica or smut) that features a female teenage protagonist!! I don’t want YA, fantasy, or sci fi. Preferably coming of age and stuff like that. (I know this books are super unrelated but the only books I’ve read that were adult and featured a teen female lead was Lives of Girls and Women (Alice Munro) and A Tale for the Time Being (Ruth Ozeki)
