Tiktoc has absolutely polluted my libby app. If I have to parse through another stack of "the yeti who loves me" to get to a halfway decent book that was written in the last decade I'll lose my mind.
I like low fantasy and sci-fi. Love the expanse series and stormlight series. Bonus points for also not being YA. I am well aware "fascism bad".

First Law trilogy by Joe Abercrombie. I think it qualifies as low fantasy. There’s some magic but it’s not expanded on all too much. Really awesome set of characters.
