I finally started Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance and I cannot stand it. Interestingly, it made me realize I liked all the reading about motorcycles and a long road trip. It’s all the philosophical nonsense I couldn’t get through. Write a novel, or write a treatise. Don’t try both in one book.
