I'm a teacher and my class are looking at books written from the perspective of/narrated by non-humans.
The books have to be suitable for children under 13 (but if you have any adult suggestions, I'd love to hear it as I would love to read them personally!)
Being picky – a good suggestion is War Horse and Black Beauty, but not something where the non-human chatacter can actively communicate with human characters using English language (so no talking dolls or things like that). I am open to all suggestions though really!!
