E A Poe is my favorite author. I could never find an author like him so I only read mangas, because they captivate me. I'd love to hear a good suggestion (author, novel, story, short-story, no manga/comics), I'd like to read with joy again!
Note: I've read Hobbit, it was meh, not as powerful as Poe..

Turn of the Screw by Henry James
and of course most stuff by H. P. Lovecraft
