Can y’all recommend me a book about the main character making someone suffer

So pretty much I was hoping for a book about the main character making someone who did something awful to them previously suffer. A broken villain if you will. Either that or an Arthur Morgan esc character where they will happily brutally murder those who deserve it but care about good people and will keep them safe.
So a revenge vibe pretty much.
