Recent books I enjoyed are East of Eden (few pages left), Monte Cristo, Cold Moon over Babylon, Misery, Project Hail Mary.
I’m considering Hyperion, Lolita and The Road.
Hyperion I’m hesitant on because while I like Simmons, I’m not a big sci-fi junkie. And I’ve read so much Simmons lately.
The Road I’m hesitant on because while Blood Meridian was good, boy did I have a frustrating with reading his prose sometimes. I might not be smart enough to be honest.
Lolita I know nothing about but people seem to love it.
