I picked up fourth wing (TFW) in a book shop ages ago and was thrilled to see a book about dragons with (I think?) a disabled protagonist. I haven't read the book yet, but I'm considering giving it a go; however, as someone who isn't a fan of "booktok" fantasy, I've done some digging and I'm not sure I'll enjoy TFW as much as I hoped. I'm still going to try it, but I really want to know if anyone has found any cool similar dragon books that are less YA in diguise, and especially if anyone has any recs for fantasy books with disabled protags?
    Thanks!

All the Skills. Progression fantasy featuring an impoverished MC, not disabled. Dragons and dragon riding kicks off in book 2.

Super Powered’s. There are Super’s, with super powers, and there are Powered people who lack control and are treated like disabled people. MC’s are Powereds who get a treatment to gain control, but that’s a secret.
