Hey guys! It's my first time posting on here, as I've given up on Google and I haven't had good luck finding similar reads in my local library.
I fell in love with both those books, and I've been looking for something along those same lines.
For The Relic Master, I truly lovely the mixture of humor, history and the writing itself. It was so refreshing, kind of like a less dark version of Chuck Pahlaniuk's writing in terms of intertwining fiction and reality.
For Even Though I Knew The End, that was one of the best books I've read in a long, long time, and the only bad part about it was how short it was, haha!
I usually have such a hard time getting into fantasy novels (aside from Harry Potter) because of the set-up of the lore, or plot holes. The fantasy aspect of this was written so well, and on top of that, the film noir part was STUNNING. Especially from a female perspective, it was fantastic. The stakes felt real, and the love story portion was so natural.
Any recommendations would be appreciated, thanks so much!!
